Thanks for saying that! As you can imagine, it has been difficult to get traction. Individual people see it, and tend to find it quite incredible, but overall there's no way to generate buzz, or go viral, etc. Also, I'm no professional, and I don't have a team (other than my wife, and occasionally volunteer activists). I did the best with what I had. Activism tends to take over one's life, even if that isn't entirely the intention. As you can imagine, the stakes were (and still are) pretty high, with a trillion dollar new "industry" emerging. Not that more people will be using cannabis now than before, it's just that all the small growers and private gardeners are going to be shut down, and big corporations (that don't know how to produce proper cannabis) take their place.
I have a lot more footage, and photos, and stories. It was a long and very involved several years. Now I live outside of Vancouver (thankfully, considering the strict lockdown they are under right now!) but I remain involved online, and will return for cannabis activism and cultural events if possible.
I watch in horror is the world legalizes cannabis for all the wrong reasons, using the model set up here in Canada, which the cannabis community doesn't support and wishes never happened.
