Un viaje de aventuras. Mis padres son originarios de un encantador pueblo costero, rodeado por las inmensas olas del mar. Allí, disfrutan de sus platillos favoritos: pescados fritos acompañados de arepas, ensalada y tajadas, ¡un verdadero festín de sabores! Al comenzar el año, decidí regalarme una escapada llena de aventuras y descanso, pues el 2024 me dejó agotada tras tantas adversidades. Salimos de madrugada para asegurarnos los pases para la lancha que nos llevaría a la hermosa Península de Araya, en el estado Sucre.
An adventurous journey. My parents are originally from a charming coastal town, surrounded by the immense waves of the sea. There, they enjoy their favorite dishes: fried fish accompanied by arepas, salad and slices, a true feast of flavors! At the beginning of the year, I decided to treat myself to a getaway full of adventure and rest, because 2024 left me exhausted after so many adversities. We left early in the morning to secure the tickets for the boat that would take us to the beautiful Araya Peninsula, in the state of Sucre.

A las cinco y media de la mañana, el encargado de taquillas ya estaba listo para vender los pases. Me pregunto si iba a adquirir un pasaje, le respondí que sí, y amablemente me indicó que me acercara para hacer la compra. Aproveché para recorrer las instalaciones de esta zona de transportes marítimos y me impresioné con todos los cambios que habían realizado; disfruté de ese hermoso ambiente. Cuando llegó la hora de embarcarme en la lancha, me sentí emocionada por el relajante viaje hacia mi destino: la población de Araya. Este recorrido duró 44 minutos, pero sentí que fueron los mejores minutos en mucho tiempo. Al llegar, desembarque entre los últimos pasajeros y continué mi camino hacia el transporte que me llevaría a casa. En mi video, les comparto las imágenes de este increíble viaje.

At half past five in the morning, the ticket office manager was ready to sell the tickets. He asked me if I was going to buy a ticket, I said yes, and he kindly told me to go over and make the purchase. I took the opportunity to tour the facilities of this maritime transportation area and I was impressed with all the changes they had made; I enjoyed that beautiful environment. When it was time to board the boat, I was excited about the relaxing trip to my destination: the town of Araya. This trip lasted 44 minutes, but I felt they were the best minutes in a long time. Upon arrival, I disembarked among the last passengers and continued on my way to the transport that would take me home. In my video, I share with you the images of this incredible trip.
