"A comforting outing" Greetings, my fellow creative food lovers! This time, I won't be sharing a recipe, as is my custom. Today, I want to tell you about an outing I had last weekend with my eldest daughter. It was an experience that lifted my spirits and comforted my soul. These outings with my daughter really fill my heart. Do any of you feel the same way?
For the past week, I've been feeling down as a result of the hormonal changes I'm going through. My daughter, who doesn't like to see me in this state, said to me, "Mom, let's go visit my sister and spend some time there to take your mind off things. What do you think?" I replied, "Okay, sweetie." It was already noon, which meant it was lunchtime. I didn't really care about that, though, since I've lost my appetite.
We got ready and went to catch a bus. On the way, she said to me, "Before we go to my sister's house, let's stop for pizza for lunch, since you've been saying you want to eat it." I replied that I didn't really feel like eating anything. Then she said, "You can't skip a meal, even if it's just a coffee," because she knows I'll never say no to that option. Ha ha ha!
However, I told her I didn't want to. She suggested going to the new branch of the Hato Grill bakery. Here in my city, there are several locations of this franchise, which offers supermarkets, pharmacies, technology, cosmetics, groceries, and much more. Among other things, they have a service that offers a wide variety of food to suit your taste in their cafes and bakeries.
We arrived at the restaurant and sat down at a table. This place is beautiful, with captivating decor. It also has a playground for the little ones. A young man came to serve us, and coincidentally, he was my daughter's former coworker. He served us very kindly and brought us the menus. My daughter continued to insist that she wanted to eat. I told her no, that I just wanted to cry. She replied, "No, Mom, I won't let you. Do you want some French fries? I know you love them." I said, "Honey, order the pizza. I don't want you to spend too much." Her response was, "For you and Dad, it will never be an expense, but a source of pride to give you everything you have given me."
She ordered a simple pizza for me to eat. While we were there, seeing the children in the park and enjoying the pleasant atmosphere, with super relaxing music playing, my mood began to change. I felt the bad mood that had been inside me fade away. Then, the long-awaited pizza arrived, and my daughter immediately served two slices on my plate, saying, "You can eat it all." I ate it with pleasure and enjoyment. The pizza was very appetizing, the crust was super soft, the sauce had a special flavor, and the amount of cheese gave it a special touch. I enjoyed it, leaving the plate empty. This place sells a wide variety of dishes to suit everyone's tastes: hamburgers, hot dogs, roasted and broasted chicken, pizzas, pastries, and everything related to coffee.

"Una salida reconfortante" 隆Saludos, mis amantes de la comida creativa! En esta ocasi贸n, no les compartir茅 una receta, como ya es costumbre. Hoy quiero relatarles sobre una salida que tuve el fin de semana pasado con mi hija mayor. Fue una experiencia que elev贸 mi 谩nimo y reconfort贸 mi alma. Estas salidas con mi hija realmente llenan mi coraz贸n. 驴A alguno de ustedes les sucede lo mismo?
Desde hace una semana, me he estado sintiendo mal de 谩nimos, todo esto como resultado del proceso hormonal que estoy atravesando. Mi hija, al ver que no le gusta verme en estas condiciones, me dijo: "Mami, vamos a visitar a mi hermana y pasar un rato all谩 para que te distraigas". 驴Te parece?. Le respond铆 esta bien, hijita. Ya eran las doce del mediod铆a, es decir, hora del almuerzo. Realmente, no me preocup茅 por esto, ya que incluso he perdido el apetito.
Nos alistamos y nos fuimos a tomar un bus. En ese proceso, ella me dice: 'Antes de ir a casa de mi hermana, vamos a hacer una parada para almorzar pizzas, ya que has estado diciendo que tienes ganas de comerlas. Le respond铆 que realmente no me apetecia comer nada. Entonces, me dijo: No puedes dejar de comer, aunque sea un caf茅 te tomaras", ya que ella sabe que a esa opci贸n nunca dir茅 que no. 隆Ja, ja, ja!
Sin embargo, le dije que no quer铆a. Ella me propuso ir a la nueva sucursal de la panader铆a de Hato Grill. Aqu铆 en mi ciudad existen varios locales de esta franquicia, que nos ofrece supermercados, farmacias, tecnolog铆a, cosm茅ticos, v铆veres y muchas cosas m谩s. Entre ellas, cuentan con un servicio que ofrece una gran variedad de comida a tu gusto en sus cafeter铆as y panader铆as.
Llegamos al lugar y nos instalamos en una mesa. Este local es s煤per hermoso, con una decoraci贸n cautivadora Adem谩s de esto, posee un parque infantil para los m谩s peque帽os de la casa. Un chico lleg贸 a atendernos y, casualmente, era excompa帽ero de trabajo de mi hija. Nos atendi贸 con mucho cari帽o y nos trajo los men煤s que ofrec铆an. Mi hija continu贸 insistiendo en que quer铆a comer. Le dije que no, que solo quer铆a llorar. Ella me respondi贸: No, mami, no lo permitir茅. 驴Quieres una raci贸n de papas fritas que s茅 que te encantan?. Le dije: 'Hija, pide la pizza, no quiero que est茅s gastando mucho. Su respuesta fue: Para ti y mi pap谩, nunca ser谩 un gasto, sino un orgullo darles todo lo que me han dado.
Hizo el pedido de una pizza sencilla para que yo comiera. Mientras est谩bamos all铆, al ver a los ni帽os en el parque y disfrutar del ambiente tan agradable, con un ambiente musical super relajante, all铆 mi 谩nimo comenz贸 a cambiar. Sent铆 c贸mo ese mal humor que habitaba en m铆 se desvanec铆a. Luego, lleg贸 la tan esperada pizza, y de inmediato mi hija me sirvi贸 dos cuartos en mi plato, dici茅ndome: Te la comes toda. Con gusto y agrado, me la com铆, la pizza estaba muy apetecible, su masa era s煤per suave, la salsa ten铆a un sabor especial y la cantidad de queso le daba un toque especial. La disfrute dejando el plato sin nada. En este lugar venden una gran variedad de platillos para el gusto de todos: hamburguesas, hot dogs, pollos asados y a la broaster, pizzas, pastelitos y todo lo relacionado con el caf茅.
