Hello, my coffeelovers! ☕
Today I want to share a great excitement: my eldest daughter will graduate as a Naval Engineer on December 12. What a pride! Since she was a little girl she has been disciplined and persevering, facing challenges that would take me hours to tell you about. On top of this, she has had her own online store for three years now, she has always been very independent. She always seeks our advice to make the most of her brilliant mind.
She decided to print out her resume and introduce it everywhere possible to look for a job. She had the opportunity to interview at a glamorous supermarket in my Cumaná, Sucre state, Venezuela and although the offer was not related to her career, she accepted because she wanted to contribute to her graduation expenses. And here comes the delicious part: this place is amazing. It has a bakery and pastry shop that offers spectacular dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Fridays and Saturdays they have live music, and one Saturday we were invited to enjoy lunch there. We settled in comfortably and ordered our meals; everything was delicious.
As is customary at home, at the end of lunch I ordered a small black coffee. When it arrived at my table, its presentation was wonderful: accompanied by sugar and a golden spoon, the aroma was irresistible and at the first sip I felt the caffeine revitalize me. ¡Hola, mis coffeelovers! ☕
Hoy quiero compartir una gran emoción: mi hija mayor se graduará como ingeniera Naval el 12 de diciembre. ¡Qué orgullo! Desde pequeña ha sido disciplinada y perseverante, enfrentando desafíos que me llevarían horas contarles. Además de esto, ella tiene su propia tienda online desde hace tres años, siempre ha sido muy independiente. Ella siempre busca nuestro consejo para sacarle el máximo provecho a su brillante mente.
Decidio imprimir su hoja de vida e introducirla en todos los lugares posibles para buscar trabajo. Tuvo la oportunidad de entrevistarse en un supermercado glamuroso de mi Cumaná, estado Sucre, Venezuela y aunque la oferta no estaba relacionada con su carrera, aceptó porque quería contribuir a los gastos de su graduación. Y aquí viene la parte deliciosa: este lugar es increíble. Ya que cuenta con una panadería y pastelería que ofrece platillos espectaculares para desayuno, almuerzo y cena. Los viernes y sábados tienen música en vivo, y un sábado nos invitó a disfrutar de un almuerzo allí. Nos instalamos cómodamente y pedimos nuestras comidas; todo estaba riquísimo.
Como es costumbre en casa, al terminar el almuerzo pedí un café negro pequeño. Cuando llegó a mi mesa, su presentación era maravillosa: acompañado de azúcar y una cucharita dorada. El aroma era irresistible y al primer sorbo sentí cómo la cafeína me revitalizaba. ¡Me encantó! Lo disfruté cada momento sin interrupciones.Mi hijo me pidió un poco del mío, pero le dije que pidiera el suyo porque no estaba dispuesta a compartir... ¡estaba demasiado delicioso!
