But yes, he has an excellent taste for shopping when it comes to clothes. How good it is to have this kind of husband, don't you think?

This time my mother-in-law needed to run several errands in the center of my city and that meant walking from the beginning of it, to the end and turn around, nothing easy right, they are many blocks, when my mother-in-law calls me to ask me to accompany her, before saying yes or no to the answer, I just imagined the journey of that day. How to say no to my mother-in-law, who is like my mother and with whom I have always counted on at all times and more when they are going through hard times with the health situation of my father-in-law, they only have us here in the city, my brothers-in-law live one in Argentina and the other in another city in our country, Venezuela.

I told her it was fine, that I would accompany her to run the relevant errands of the day, like going to get some medicine, fix some shoes for her and I would take the opportunity to buy a pantyhose for the wardrobe I will use for the thesis paper of my eldest daughter, who will graduate as a Naval Engineer. So I took the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, ha, ha, ha, ha, as they say in my country. We agreed on the meeting time and place. When I was talking to her, my husband told me that he would go with us, since he had to sign some papers for his retirement and I was happy, since we would have more company.

We left home very early and we went to do our errands, to buy my medicines and look for the pantyhose I needed and we had time to have breakfast, since we left very early, when my mother-in-law called, she was already waiting for us at the place where my husband would sign the papers, When we arrived we sat outside while he did his errand, we took the opportunity to rest and talk about my father-in-law's health, I was really exhausted and my body was already asking for my caffeine, so I had breakfast but I could not drink coffee, my husband punished me ha, ha, ha, ha.

When he left, we set out on the journey to buy the things my mother-in-law needed. We went from store to store. I felt that my legs could not take it anymore, I just wanted to sit down. When we arrived we found what we needed and my husband asked her: "Mom, is there anything else missing? No, son, that's all; we can go now. I was happy, I just wanted to go and get the shoes that she had sent to be fixed at the beginning of the city center. We walked little by little, looking at many beautiful things along the way. The good thing about downtown is that you come across so much beauty that you want to take it all home.

When we arrived at the mall, my husband and I settled down to wait for her while she picked up her shoes. When she came out, I got up to walk to the bus stop and she said to me: no, daughter, come on, let's go to the coffee shop over there to have a coffee and rest for a while before we leave. When I heard those words from my mother-in-law, my heart jumped with happiness. I needed a coffee to recharge my batteries, which I needed so much after so much walking! Ha, ha, ha, ha. We arrived and settled down at a table. My mother-in-law went to the food place and asked what kind of coffee they had and she told me: "daughter, there is only with milk and black", I told her, I want one with milk to brighten up my life and my day.

They brought the coffee to the table, along with sugar, I really did not need to add sugar, when the aroma of coffee reached me, I felt so happy that I did not stop, I took my coffee and tried a sip, this was super special, it had a special ingredient that I could not describe it, it did not taste like those with normal milk, its foam was very creamy and soft, I was enjoying my coffee little by little while we talked like the beautiful family we are. I loved the place, it felt very peaceful and quiet, the place was very cozy and very clean, besides selling all kinds of breakfasts and lunches. "Un con leche para recargar energías". No sé ustedes, pero a mí no me gusta caminar el centro de mi ciudad, soy muy sedentaria, ja, ja, ja. Desde que me casé, me acostumbré a que mi esposo fuera a hacer cualquier tipo de diligencias e inclusive a comprar los estrenos de Navidad con total confianza, tanto para mis hijos, como para mí, y yo siempre feliz con lo que él nos traía, ¡ah! Pero eso sí, tiene él, un excelente gusto para comprar cuando se trata de ropa. Qué bueno es contar con esta clase de esposos, ¿no creen ustedes?

En esta oportunidad mi suegra necesitaba realizar varias diligencias en el centro de mi ciudad y eso implicaba caminar desde el inicio del mismo, hasta el final y dar la vuelta, ¿Nada fácil cierto?, son muchas cuadras, cuando mi suegra me llama para pedirme que la acompañara, antes de decir si o no a la respuesta, solo imaginaba el recorrido de ese día. Como decirle que no a mi suegra, la cual es como mi madre y con la que siempre he contado en todo momento y más cuando están pasando momentos duros con la situación de salud de mi suegro, solo nos tienen a nosotros aquí en la ciudad, mis cuñados viven uno en Argentina y el otro en otra ciudad de nuestro país, Venezuela.

Le dije que estaba bien, que la acompañaría a realizar las diligencias pertinentes del día, como ir a buscar medicamentos, arreglar algunos calzados para ella y yo así aprovecharía la oportunidad de comprar una malla panti para el vestuario que usaré para la ponencia de tesis de mi hija mayor, la cual se graduará de ingeniero Naval. Así que aproveché para matar dos pájaros de un tiro, ja, ja, ja, así como dicen en mi tierra. Nos pusimos de acuerdo con la hora de encuentro y el lugar. Cuando estoy hablando con ella, mi esposo me dice que él iría con nosotras, ya que debía ir a firmar unos papeles de su jubilación y yo feliz, ya que tendríamos más compañía.

Salimos súper temprano de casa y fuimos realizando nuestras diligencias, de comprar mis medicamentos y buscar la malla panti que necesitaba y nos dio tiempo a desayunar, ya que salimos muy temprano, cuando mi suegra llamo, nos impresionó ya estaba esperándonos en el lugar donde mi esposo firmaría los papeles, al llegar nos quedamos sentadas afuera, mientras él realizaba su diligencia, aprovechamos de descansar y de conversar sobre la salud de mi suegro, realmente estaba muy agotada y ya mi cuerpo me estaba pidiendo mi cafeína, pues desayune más no pude tomar café, mi esposo me castigo ja, ja, ja.

Cuando él salió, empezamos a emprender el viaje para comprar las cosas que mi suegra necesitaba. Fuimos de tienda en tienda. Sentía que mis piernas ya no daban para más, solo quería sentarme. Al llegar encontramos lo que necesitábamos y mi esposo le preguntó: ¿Mamá, falta algo más? No, hijo, es todo; ya podemos irnos. Yo, feliz, solo quería ir a buscar el calzado que ella mandó a arreglar al inicio del centro de la ciudad. Fuimos caminando poco a poco y mirando muchas cosas lindas en el camino. Lo bueno del centro es que te encuentras con cada belleza que te quieres llevar todo a casa.

Al llegar al centro comercial, mi esposo y yo nos instalamos a esperarla mientras ella retiraba su calzado. Cuando salió, yo me levanto para tomar camino hacia la parada del bus y ella me dice: no, hija, vente, vamos al cafetín que está allí para tomarnos un café y descansar un rato para irnos. Cuando escuché esas palabras de mi suegra, mi corazón brincaba de felicidad. Un café ya me urgía para recargar energías, ¡qué bastante falta que me hacían, de tanto caminar! Ja, ja, ja. Llegamos, nos instalamos en una mesa. Mi suegra se dirigió al local de comida y preguntó qué tipo de café tenían y ella me dijo:"hija, solo hay con leche y negrito", le dije, quiero uno con leche que me alegre la vida y el día.

Nos trajeron el café hasta la mesa, junto con el azúcar, realmente no necesite agregar azúcar, cuando el aroma del café llegaba a mí, yo sentía tanta felicidad que no paraba, tome mi café y probé un sorbo, este estaba super especial, tenía un ingrediente especial que no sabría describirlo, no sabía a esos con leche normales, su espuma era muy cremosa y suave, me fui disfrutando mi café poco a poco mientras conversábamos como la hermosa familia que somos. Me encantó el lugar, se sentía mucha paz y tranquilidad, el lugar muy acogedor y súper limpio, además de vender todo tipo de desayunos y almuerzos. Bueno, mis amantes del café, esta experiencia fue muy agradable al lado de la familia. Nada más bonito que tener a una suegra que se siente que es tu madre y así es como la veo y la siento, me encanta disfrutar del café a su lado.
