As I wake up this morning, I feel an emptiness inside, not sure of how I should be feeling. If you saw my introduction post, you would see that I recently moved to Las Vegas and it's very hard to miss the news about the tragic event that happened last night about the shooting. It was a chaotic scene for myself and hundreds of other people not knowing how many shooters or where they even were. It was very depressing seeing all these people scared and afraid, not know whether their friends and family were alive or not. There were bomb squads out so I wasn't sure if any of the buildings were going to explode. All I could think about at the time was "this could be it". It's too often that we see tragic events like this on TV, but being a part of it is a whole new world that you can never prepare yourself for. I'm thankful for everyone that reached out to me and made sure I was ok. It's very cliche but make sure to give your loved ones a hug and tell them you love them, it is very important. Well it's time to go do my part and donate my blood, which is luckily universal, and will be paying my respects at the vigil tonight. I hope everyone that reads this has a great day!
