WOW! today was a great day for trading if you were doing so. Looking at the charts now, everything just jumped so ridiculously high. Unfortunately, was away from the computer so missed out on all of the action. Everything seems to be going down now but still sitting here trying to get in a few trades in. It's very exciting to be watching this right now and still a little sad to miss out on that.
So I told my friend while doing some research for the fork that it was 1 to 1 and forgot to mention it was 1btc to 1btcg and he got excited about doubling up. I feel a little bad about it but it would still be a good amount of money that he would be getting for free . Well, if only that were the case, he thought that bittrex was going to pick up bitcoin gold but unfortunately they did not. Now, he just has a whole lot of money, well more money in bitcoin and I don't believe he got a split for bitcoin gold. Of course as we both knew ahead of time, the price of bitcoin was going to drop which is has dramatically. Sad times!
Well, great first learning experience and I'm lucky to be just a spectator this time around. Definitely a good first time to be coming in at a hard fork. That definitely took a lot of research to learn what that meant and is. Well, I hope the market is good to everyone right now and you all make money!
