I agree that we need to "think before we act," but, at times, the gamble I am convinced can exist.
Mind you, I said, and I emphasize "sometimes": in some cases pondering too much makes one lose the focus of the situation and the chance escapes us.
I have the conviction that a decision made instinctively without too much thought can be executed.
