In what you wrote, I saw myself and another guy with whom we are developing a project again: when we try a function and see that it doesn't give the results we want, we don't say that we made a mistake, but simply that we found another way that doesn't work and we go back there and think of something different.
We are very stubborn, but we know very well what the result must be and nobody stops us!
