Yep, I'm sort of with you on this. I guess the key part is this:

as long as you'd done the research and your fundamentals are good

Often times we let our emotions and sunk cost fallacy blind us. There are times when it's good to jump ship for another project. If you see a team making some crazy decisions or not delivering anything, it's probably best to leave and pick a better project.

But you shouldn't just jump ship because of a low price. And you shouldn't just jump into a coin because it's going up.
