Actors Portrait - Sophie Rundle from BBC one show Peaky Blinders.

Had the opportunity to shoot with Sophie Rundle a while back, thought I'd share them with you. In general when I'm shooting an actor for a magazine or just their portfolio's I try to make it into a story.

Telling a story can be done in a number of ways through portrait photography, with this set of images I have used a visual narrative to create cohesion. We kept the styling classic and classy, focusing on a tonal colour palette which makes Sophie's hair and complexion really sing. The use of the B&W images throughout feed into this idea of tones and I think really make her freckles look amazing. I love freckles. We also kept the background simple, with only two variations.
