It's rainy season in Japan and umbrellas are everywhere! Vending machines look cool but are a little expensive at ¥1000 yen, so I suggest convenience stores about ¥300-¥600 depending on size or ¥100 yen or ¥300 shop for the cheapest ones!
Also many stations have too many umbrellas in their lost and found that they often hang them up outside of the ticket Gates and are free to anybody who needs one!
So nobody likes the muggy rainy season but at least it's easy to keep dry!
