La ciudad de Caracas es un valle sumergido al fondo de montañas y montañas de escudo. El Wuaraira Repano, nombre oficial del cerro, es el monumento natural que bordea a la capital.

The city of Caracas is a valley submerged in the background of mountains and shield hills. The Wuaraira Repano, official name of the Mount, is the natural monument that borders the capital.

Desde cualquier lugar de esta selva de concreto puede ver el imponente Ávila, ya que tiene una altura de 2.765 m de elevación. Es impresionante.

From anywhere in this concrete jungle you can see the imposing Avila, as it has a height of 2,765 m elevation. It is impressive.

Estas son fotos que tomé diferentes puntos. Las primeras dos fueron desde el kilómetro 5 de la carretera nacional Panamericana, que es la vía que comunica a Caracas con los Altos Mirandinos.

These are photos I took at different points. The first two were from kilometer 5 of the Panamerican Highway, which is the road that connects Caracas with the Altos Mirandinos.

Las otras dos corresponden a el Mirador de Santa Fe. Las fotos las realicé con mi Nikon de 5200 y un lente 55-300mm.

Me gusta cómo quedaron las nubes y sobre todo el ángulo de las sombras que estas generan. Le da mayor profundidad a la montaña y la hace lucir más inmensa, frente a lo diminuto que se ve el cielo.

I like the way the clouds turned out and especially the angle of the shadows they generate. It gives more depth to the mountain and makes it look more immense, compared to how tiny the sky looks.
