🔘 Los Jolly Chimp fueron un juguete creado por una compañía japonesa a mediados de la década de 1950, estos imitaban la apariencia de un mono con platillos el cual funcionaba de forma mecánica.
No lograron hacerse demasiado populares entre los infantes debido a su tenebrosa apariencia, por esta razón comenzaron a ser vendidos en el comercio ambulante y donados a niños enfermos o que fueran pacientes psiquiátricos.
Muchas enfermeras y doctores popularizaron testimonios en los cuales narraban como este mismo juguete se prendía en medio de la noche sin estimulación alguna.
Nuestra historia comienza cuando el padre de Christopher Parkles compró un Jolly Chimp a un vendedor ambulante de Manhattan como un regalo de cumpleaños para su hijo.
Christopher tenía once años y era el único hijo del matrimonio, era un niño alegre y ejemplar en cuanto a las calificaciones.
Luego de una cena familiar el niño decidió irse a descansar sin esperar la sorpresa que le aguardaba. Estuvo algún rato tratando de dormir y cuando ya se encontraba frustrado decidió levantarse para así jugar con aquel juguete que su padre le había regalado.
en cuanto lo tuvo en sus mano noto que el objeto emanaba calor pero decidió ignorarlo creyendo que eran los mecanismos, jugó con este un rato y cuando ya se sintió cansado asumió que sería buen momento para volver a intentar dormir.
En cuanto se acostó con todas las luces de su habitación apagadas y completamente decidido a descansar pudo escuchar el sonido de los platillos de aquel juguete, se había activado solo.
Encendió la luz y el sonido cesó en aquel mismo instante, el juguete tenía su vista fija como si nada hubiera pasado.
Christopher pensó que podría haber sido algo que había imaginado por el sueño pero en cuanto volvió a presionar el interruptor de la luz los estridentes ruidos de los platillos volvió a llenar la habitación.
Esta vez Christopher se armo de valor, no volvió a prender las luces y se guió con el sonido que emitía el objeto para así poder descubrir lo que realmente pasaba pero cuando ya se encontraba en frente pudo sentir como una mano lo tomaba desde el brazo.
El pequeño escapó hasta donde se encontraban sus padres, completamente asustado les contó lo que había pasado y cuando éstos lo acompañaron hasta la habitación notaron como el mono ya no se encontraba en el estante. Se había movido hasta la cama de Christopher, casi como si estuviera esperando por el infante.
Desde aquel suceso Christopher no habia vuelto a ser el mismo niño alegre que todos conocían, se la vivía asustado además que nunca podía conciliar el sueño ya que en todas las ocasiones tenía terrores nocturnos, sus padres lo habían escuchado balbucear en sueños el nombre Azazel.
Ya totalmente alarmados por la salud física y mental de su hijo decidieron llevarlo con profesionales de la salud pero la única respuesta que obtenían era que el pequeño podía estar sufriendo un cuadro agudo de esquizofrenia debido al traumarte suceso.
Luego de meses llenos de angustia y buscando diferentes tratamientos se contactaron con la pareja de investigadores paranormales, Ed y Lorraine Warren.
En cuanto lo desarmaron el juguete descubrieron el causante de todos los males, en su interior tenía algún tipo de trabajo oscuro. Un montón de pelo humano unido con algunas ramas secas de árbol y una nota en la cual podía leerse un conjuro.
La conclusión fue que el juguete había sido probablemente usado en ciertos rituales oscuros que habían realizado una secta japonesa sabiendo que tarde o temprano aquel objeto llegaría a las manos de un infante, un ser de alma pura.
Desde aquel día el mono está resguardado en el museo de los Warren

🔘 The Jolly Chimp was a toy created by a Japanese company in the mid-1950s, these imitated the appearance of a monkey with cymbals which worked mechanically.
They failed to become too popular among infants due to their gloomy appearance, for this reason they began to be sold in street trade and donated to sick children or those who were psychiatric patients.
Many nurses and doctors popularized testimonies in which they narrated how this same toy would turn on in the middle of the night without any stimulation.
Our story begins when Christopher Parkles' father bought a Jolly Chimp from a Manhattan street vendor as a birthday present for his son.
Christopher was eleven years old and he was the only son of the marriage, he was a cheerful and exemplary child in terms of qualifications.
After a family dinner, the boy decided to go to rest without waiting for the surprise that awaited him. He spent some time trying to sleep and when he was already frustrated he decided to get up to play with that toy that his father had given him.
As soon as he held it in his hand, he noticed that the object emanated heat but decided to ignore it, believing it was the mechanisms. He played with it for a while and when he felt tired, he assumed that it would be a good time to try to sleep again.
As soon as he went to bed with all the lights in his room off and completely determined to rest he could hear the sound of the cymbals of that toy, he had activated himself.
He turned on the light and the sound stopped at that very moment, the toy had its eyes fixed as if nothing had happened.
Christopher thought it might have been something he had imagined from the dream but as soon as he flipped the light switch again the shrill noises of the cymbals filled the room again.
This time Christopher steeled himself, he did not turn on the lights again and he was guided by the sound emitted by the object in order to discover what was really happening but when he was already in front he could feel how a hand took him from the arm.
The little one escaped to where his parents were, completely scared he told them what had happened and when they accompanied him to the room they noticed how the monkey was no longer on the shelf. He had moved over to Christopher's bed, almost as if he was waiting for the infant.
Since that event, Christopher had not been the same happy child that everyone knew, he was scared and he could never fall asleep because he had night terrors on all occasions, his parents had heard him babble the name Azazel in his dreams.
Already totally alarmed by the physical and mental health of his son, they decided to take him to health professionals, but the only answer they got was that the little boy could be suffering from acute schizophrenia due to the traumatic event.
After months full of anguish and searching for different treatments, they contacted the couple of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren.
As soon as they disarmed the toy, they discovered the cause of all the evils, inside it had some kind of dark work. A bunch of human hair tied together with some dry tree branches and a note on which a spell could be read.
The conclusion was that the toy had probably been used in certain dark rituals that a Japanese sect had performed knowing that sooner or later that object would reach the hands of an infant, a being with a pure soul.
Since that day the monkey is protected in the Warren museum
