I've been having a pretty productive week: finished two paintings, wrote two film reviews, and I'm preparing to release my first single of the year tonight at midnight. "Je Ne Sais Quoi" is the first song from my upcoming album, The Wicked, and I'm really excited to be finally sharing some music from this project after the whole thing stalled for a year for the obvious reasons.
I woke up an hour before my alarm this morning and just went ahead and got up early. While I was doing my workout I was listening to this amazing podcast interview with Seth Godin. I literally just discovered this guy before sitting down to share this interview so I don't have many insights other than that Godin wrote a pioneering book about email marketing, and this interview is blowing my mind with profound insight after profound insight: "hacks VS. artists" "hobby VS. work" "writer's block is a myth" "seek the smallest viable audience."
