Today I visited Monastery Koporin with my family. It is located near Velika Plana in Serbia. Monastery is surrounded by beautiful nature and we ejoyed it very much since the day was phenomenal for a walk!
This church is dedicated to St. Stephen and it was built somewhere around 1415, during the reign of Despot Stefan Lazarevi膰. In this church under the portrait of the founder was found tomb of Despot Stefan Lazarevi膰 and his remains are still there.
It is belived that Monastery helps people who do not have children. They go there for a prayer for birth. It is no rarity that later they return with their progeny. Who knows! 馃槉
Here you can find the well. You can drink the water from the well or fill the bottle. They called it holy water.
This is the view at the Ambelos, Winery of Monastery Koporin. Vineyards are by the Monastery and there they produce wine.
