Today, October 24th, is my son's birthday. I could write here for hours about how grateful I am to have him in my life, but I know he already knows that. He changed my life. I was scared because I was a young guy back then, but if there's one thing I can say for sure in this life, it's how important he is to me and how much I endure and fight to be here for him.
Son, maybe one day you'll read this, so I want you to know that you mean everything to me and that you're the reason I love doing everything I do. I love you, and I'm incredibly proud of the person you're becoming, this young man who already has such strong values and virtues. You're amazing, and you were born to succeed. Just keep walking your path, be resilient when necessary, and make good choices. That's all.

Hoje, dia 24 de outubro, é aniversário do meu filho. Eu poderia escrever aqui por horas sobre o quanto sou grato por tê-lo em minha vida, mas sei que ele sabe disso. Ele mudou minha vida. Tive medo por ser um cara novo naquela época, mas, se existe uma coisa que posso afirmar nesta vida, é o quanto ele é importante para mim e o quanto eu resisto e luto para estar aqui por ele.
Filho, talvez um dia você leia isso, então quero que saiba que você é tudo para mim e o motivo pelo qual amo fazer tudo o que faço. Eu te amo e tenho um orgulho imenso da pessoa que você está se tornando, desse pequeno homem que já possui grandes valores e virtudes. Você é incrível e nasceu para vencer. Apenas continue sua caminhada, seja resiliente quando necessário e faça boas escolhas. Apenas isso.
