Daily 5 Minutes Writing Prompt: Miserable looking Kitten

Underneath a street light, that was flickering, a hungry kitten hesitated to come out, raindrops blended with the tears of his coat. Shivering from the piercing cold, the stray dog seemed to illustrate the figure of loneliness in the sideways alley. Every whiny note was the cry for comfort, the desire to experience tenderness once again, something she refused to remember. The eyes which had once been full of life are now dimmed by depression, revealing only the bitterness of the reality of being alone. Despite boundless heartbreak, a hint of strong will to live was flashing in its core, persisting in spite of huge obstacles.
