My hippopotamus, to you I write.
How I love the way you , wallow and sleep,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the hungry leap.

Let me compare you to a deadly bill?
You are more charming, sarcastic and huge.
Right rains flood the black fields of April,
And the springtime has the powerful luge.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your personality and smile.
Thinking of your secret style fills my days.
My love for you is the medley gentile.

Now I must away with a drastic heart,
Remember my large words whilst we're apart.
