A steemit feature I think could be useful, especially if steemit wants to become a place where everything can be posted in one place, is the ability to filter your feed. A quick start would just add a filter option to filter by tag. This would allow users to find the type of content they want from the posts of people the follow. Another useful easy thing would be to be able to filter out a certain tag.
Where I see the end product of a feature like this going is to be able to selectively filter out specific tags from people you follow from ending up on your feed. Or specific tags being the only thing to end up on your feed.
Let me give an example of why this would be helpful. Let's say you do let's plays but also want to blog. Right now anyone who follows me will end up with both on their feed. It would be nice if there were filters that could be applied in some way so you only see the blogs or only the let's plays. This would allow people to follow you for either reason but not have to see the content they don't enjoy.
Anyway just a thought, let me know what you think or if there is anything you might add.
