For this week's #waterfallwednesday I have another waterfall from the USA for you. Today I show you Sol Duc Falls, which is located on the Olympic Peninsula south of the Canadian border.
It's a beatiful waterfall, which creates a lot of spray. On the day I visited the sun was out, which, together with the spray, created some beautiful light beams. To best capture those I opted for a perspective following the flow of the water.
Normally, when I photography waterfalls, I position myself in front of the waterfall to capture the tumbling water from below. But there are occasions where a photo from the top of the falls can create a nice lead into the frame.
I think in this case it worked quite nicely. What do you think?
