One of the largest water falls in Europe with a high of 23 m. After my holiday on my free day a short visit here was a very nice refreshing summer day. It is located near Schaffhausen, good to arrive with the train.
If you are in this area you can also take a boat trip to the famous rock on the middle of the Falls, I looked the Falls only from the platform close to the water after I visited the Laufen castle overlooking the Rhine Falls.
