Hello Steemit community! Today I'm going to talk about something that I find interesting. If you like to watch movies or read books, you will probably know this classic that is the story of The Shining, a novel written by Stephen King; published in 1977, and taken to the cinema by Stanley Kubrick in 1980.
Well,IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE AND DO NOT WANT TO KNOW ANY DETAIL, DO NOT READ THIS POST. My intention is to talk about this without spoilers, since some things from the book are not in the film and vice versa ... I highly recommend reading the book for those who have not yet done so. You will not regret it.
The fact that I bring to you today is the book written by Jack Torrance that only appears in the film, in the book this event is never mentioned. In the course of the film and during his stay at the Overlook, Jack spends his time writing a book that he then plans to publish and wants to earn an income from it. Spoilers: After Jack's strange behaviors, the last night of his stay in the Overlook, Wendy approaches Jack's desk to discover that Jack has been writing the same phrase repeated thousands of times, realizing that her husband really lost his mind.
