A workplace is where people work, such as an office or factory depending on your line of business. Workforce are the people engaged in or available for work, either in a country or area or in a particular company or industry.****
For it to maintain the business, "the people" will be provided with salary, benefits and for some incentives and they monitored based on the output or delivery of their service. Performance, metrics and Contract among clients should be at its peak or at least above the required performance.
However, "the what if's" will come and change is inevitable. As the system grows, it made complex requirements depending on the expected output, market strategy and policies. This is where "the workforce" strategize it moves to align it on the goal.
In some abrupt changes, the people are now struggled with it and the superiors are planning to make some particular tasks to hold good and tenured subordinates. As work loads getting heavier, the questions behind it are: is it worth it? Am I still happy about what I'm doing? Is it too much to handle these required tasks? What are they doing? Some good people stay because of dedication and good superiors. Some gave up. This is where the option comes for them to stay or to look for other ventures.
Profit is what every business owners are after, but don't you think it's far more better to look on your people first above all?
