Years ago I spent some time in Bulgaria. I have never met nice and more hospitible people as I had met there. But when I was there in both year 2000 ans 2001, I was taken back as I visited a grocery store and found only one roll of toilet paper, one tooth paste. Not the so many choices of colors, sizes, brands and quantities that I was accustomed to seeing in the large stores in America.
I took this photo yesterday at a Walmart Super Store. The shelves in the entire store were empty.
Panicking and taking everything while not leaving something for your fellow countryman, does not seem to be acceptable behaviour.
