This nature pictures was taken on a recent trip to Kielva in Skibotn, Norway.
Rocks don't absorb water, they go down the slope of the mountain.
Most rivers begin life as a tiny stream running down a mountain slope. They are fed by rainwater and water from melting snow.
Small streams meet and join together, growing larger and larger until the flow can be called a river.
Photos are taken with Sony DSC-H50.
