Well I guess the water is actually more turquoise than blue! This section of the river Kootenay seemed more exquisitely coloured than by the bridge, which we walked by earlier. Perhaps due to the sun vs shade ratio. Beautiful isn’t it?! In the mountains, you do frequently find this kind of turquoise blue water, due to glacial rock powder suspended in the water.
