It's been interesting to watch how Next Colony has changed over time, and how I've had to modify my play as a result. With the advent of the seasons, I've found that I'm now largely left alone. So far, the seasons have centered around the construction, upgrade, and destruction of Yamato ships. Since I have no interest in battling, and also don't have any Yamatos, I've lately say on the sidelines. This means I've not been attacked, and have been free to explore and to produce ships. Essentially, I've taken on the role of a merchant. I find planets, blueprints, and stardust. Then I use my planets to produce ships and sell my extra ships and blueprints. I've not yet sold a planet, but I think that's probably coming. As it stands, I've built my stardust wallet into a nice little stockpile.
