In this video I go over another example on using tables of integrals and this time solve the integral of the function x*sqrt(x2+2x+4). Although the table of integrals that I am using (which can be downloaded at http://tinyurl.com/integralsmes), doesn’t have any formulas for integrands of the form sqrt(ax2+bx+c), we can still complete the square and use substitution to transform the function to a form of sqrt(x2 + b). After transforming the function we can then use the integral number 21 in the table of integrals to solve the integral.
