In this video, I go over the famous 19-lb bushing Hutchison Effect levitation footage, which, when analyzed frame-by-frame, demonstrates a unique linearly increasing acceleration. This analysis was first done by George Hathaway in his book Mindbending, which Thomas Valone later coined the phrase "hyperforce" to describe it. Compare this with the force of gravity, which is constant. Note that Hathaway's results were obtained by taking derivatives of the position trendline, which was modelled as a cubic function. I compare these derivatives with direct measurements from the position data and obtain similar results. Note also that the 3rd derivative of position, or 1st derivative of acceleration, is termed jerk or jolt. Thus, the levitation effects in John Hutchison's experiments do not simply involve a force with constant acceleration, but rather a hyperforce with constant jolt! The jolt obtained from the derivatives yields a constant value. The jolt from the data points varies because of the difficulty in obtaining 3rd derivative effects from a few frames. Nonetheless, the last few data points are similar to the trendline derived results – 7:46
