• 3 out of 8 semifinalists (both cups) have come from Group A of Champions League (@ptaku, @manuvert & @practicaleric )
• players who had landed in Consolation Cup from 3rd places of Champions League, fared better than those who played there from the start (3 out of 4 are from CL, only @ilodz24hd has come from CC Round of 8)
• in CL 1/4 finals, in 3 pairs both players had a win and aggregate score was decisive;
• in CC 1/4 finals all pairs had clear winners (won both legs)
• Bulgaria and Poland have 3 players each; the other 2 semifinalists come from Kenya and USA
