A session with a physio on Tuesday had made it possible to walk almost normally. I decided to use Wednesday as a test before my weekend hiking. Plus Wednesday was the last day to stay in @poprzeczka (needed

I think physiotherapists could trace their lineage to medieval torture masters. They know how to inflict pain :-). I visited one yesterday and he helped to ease my lower back pain, but my back feels as

I got a lower back pain - out of nothing. No injury, no heavyweight lifting. Just happened when… tying shoe laces. Walking is painful, but the worst is to get up from sitting or laying down. I will see

We had ended m our yesterday’s hike in a rain. It rained almost all night and today Zapadne Tatry (Western Tatras), SK were covered by mist. We hiked to Rohačske Plesa - four post-glacial lakes tucked

I have hiked to Bystra - at 2248m asl it is the highest peak of Zapadne Tatry (Western Tatras, SK). Easy and pleasant ascent but long and at times difficult descent, ended with a rain on the last mile.

This summer almost every Friday afternoon I drove to my weekend hiking destination. For the third time in two months I am in northern Slovakia. Previously I hiked in Nízke Tatry (Low Tatras) and Vysoké
