Hiking in Western Tatras. My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2025

I have hiked to Bystra - at 2248m asl it is the highest peak of Zapadne Tatry (Western Tatras, SK). Easy and pleasant ascent but long and at times difficult descent, ended with a rain on the last mile.

Overall, yet another great trip to Slovakia. We were a party of four, aged 45 to 60. For most of the day we had a nice weather - sunny, but not hot and cloudy but nothing that would spoil the views. When it did rain, we are already on the road to the parking.
