Ponta de São Lourenço. My Actifit Report Card: September 4 2026

St Lawrence peninsula is a long and narrow extension of the Madeira island into the East. Unlike lush green mainland, it is barren volcanic rocks with interesting ochre injections.

On our way home, we did an „Indiana Jones” adventure - hiking through dens undergrowth to two hidden waterfalls - Chamusca and Sao Nicolau.
