The last hike of my long weekend hiking in Slovakia was deliberately planned to be short. We needed to get back home. I chose to drive up to 1250m asl to ski resort (closed at this time of year) and hike to and around the peak of Veľká lúka (1576m ASL) in Mala Fatra Mts. It was a pleasant stroll.
Coincidentally, we did 11km on 11th November. It’s a national holiday in Poland - celebrating the 107 anniversary of regaining independence. Happy birthday, Poland!
