Good winter and even better company. My Actifit Report Card: March 1 2025

I had hoped for snow but had mentally prepared for mud on todays hiking route. The winter made a pleasant surprise, it fought back against the thaw and added 20cm of fresh snow in the mountains which were my hiking destination (@bucipuci - I was on the Polish side of what Slovak and Czech maps show as Kysucke Beskidy). All day in snow, including the parking at 600m asl. (My highest peak was 1200m asl).

I had a small group of 4 ladies, 2 of at retirement age. I love how their appreciate life and the little joys like snow and sun.
The route was short, just 14km with 700m of total elevation gain. Fantastic time.
