On my last day in Denmark I hoped to see a proper sunrise by the sea. The previous evening had been cloudless and the shoreline in Sæby runs N-S, is therefore ideal for sunrise observation.
I didn’t quite worked as I had hoped it would. A thick layer of clouds right on the NW horizon obscured the sun as it rose up. Nevertheless, it was worth going to the beach before flying back home.
I have done some serious gate walking at AAL and AMS, totalling 10k.
