500km for 50th birthday. Day 8. My Actifit Report Card: May 28 2024

The 8th day of our trek was “just” 28km but the total elevation gain was 1400m. We have enjoyed a perfect weather - low 20s (C) with a light breeze.

There was a lookout tower on our way. I did get up there and watched an almost perfect 360° panorama.

All good - dry boots, no blisters, nothing aches and excellent mood. I don’t follow any news, except weather forecasts. It’s very relaxing to be hiking like this.
