Merthin’s two trails. Day 7/10 (205/300). My Actifit Report Card: August 14 2023

Relatively short stage today - 25km with 1000m of total elevation gain. But many points of interest and heat prolonged the walking to 11hrs.

I am grateful for the cool shadows of forests. Most of my route was quite pleasant. Anytime the path ventured out of the woods, I felt the scorching heat. We should appreciate the forest areas that we still have in Central Europe.
