All my steps today were made on a walk to a library in neighbouring town. I went there to listen to a lecture on a mountain range that I like.
It was interesting, however I reflected to my colleague that… I could have done it myself ;-) as I know the range pretty well. It’s called Beskid Wyspowy (Insular Beskids). The name describes well its character- it’s a collection of isolated mountains rather than a regular range.
Three years ago, the region was “some mountains” to me. Once I started to explore it, it has become my fascination (just short of obsession!)
