I took the women and children from our refugees shelter out for a spring walk. Those with little kids walked about 20 minutes with us and then stayed at a playground. With the rest, we did some 15km along a river in nice spring weather.
During the walk one of the women shared her story. She had escaped with her son. Out of a basement as they were, and a dash for safety. Her home town is Mariupol. That Mariupol. Her husband, father and older son are still there. I do hope the family will be #AliveAndThriving again and back in their home.
