Hi, people of Hive!
I've been convinced to try planting succulents. I am not a fan of it because I love planting herbs, veggies and flowering plants but a lot of people kept telling me they are easy to grow and they make good gifts. They are amazing as center pieces for tables and an accent on your shelves. Most of all, they are very low maintenance! This is the big reason people love them, they can be left there with nothing for long periods of time, you just spray it some water when you remember and they are good. Here are some of the few that my friends gave me to start my collection.
I also realized that my mom has some of these small cactus-like things in the backyard. She has some of them potted but they're just left there, unlike her other favorite plants. My mom is into rare tropical plants, both for outdoors and indoors. I don't think I will sell these plants but as I pot them, I am already satisfied with the fact that they have been 100% alive. Unlike when I pot veggies and herbs, some of them die or wither. I am not a green thumb that's why, but with these succulents, so far all of them lived after I moved them. That's quite an achievement for me.
Here are more of them, maybe next time I will take more pictures.
Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you have a wonderful day! See you!
