Oh my! If we're talking about good chains here, I must have a whole lot of it going on in my life and now that I think about it, it's definitely something I should be grateful for. I've lived all my life at the mercy of God and good people He has brought to make my life easier even in the midst of disappointments and lost expectations.
Just yesterday, my fousin and I were talking so much about the good people that still exist even in our reality where there are more evil people and bad news everywhere. It got me realizing how blessed I am and how much I can also do in return for the good I receive everyday of my life from good people, life is easier with good people.
I've been inspired to do something good countless times and yes, I know I did made the choice but most part of it, the good people in my life helped me see where I could help. Many years ago, I use to think being good to others meant giving money or buying something for another. I had never imagined words are help too.
Like I said, there are many chains I must have started because of one good or the other that others have done for me but one still stands out for me even till tomorrow because it has been changing my life and it's in turn changing the lives of people who come across me. I'll share a few of the other chains I could have started first.
A few of them are, the time where someone sent financial help to me on a day I wasn't expecting any money but had nothing and needed to sort out some bills. If I remember correctly, it was the first time someone helped without me asking for help, it felt so good and I've always tend to think to do same whenever I am able to do since then.
Another is, when I received clothing gifts from people who saw my need back then. One of the things my dad couldn't do much of my siblings and I growing up was getting us new wears but he did his best and I appreciate it. So we had people who taught it wise to always gift us wears they no longer use that were still usable & clean.
Because of those help, I got to think of other people whenever I have wears I no longer use anymore. It's a chain that started many years ago and is still growing even till tomorrow because I can't even explain how my mind goes for others whenever I have something to give. The kind hearts of people gave me that heart and I am always grateful to receive help and help others.
And the final chain, my most favourite chain that didn't start from me but I'm always making sure of it's growth is what I call the power of words to change people's life. I may have not succeeded in changing people's lives or maybe I have but don't just know it yet but words have changed me, words have helped me accept more from life and I am giving back by the right use of my words.
