Hive Open Mic 258 - Theme "Under My Skin" / "Overdose" Cover
Hello my fellow music lovers in the Hive Open Mic community! I'm here with another entry for the special theme of this week "Under My Skin". I had to check to know what the phrase means lol.
It was lovely to have that much engagement on my last entry and it gave me more than enough boost to keep this going and I can't wait to hear what you think about this entry in the comments.
The theme gave me two meanings when I checked it up... "To grow to like you" and "To be deeply psychological" and surprisingly, I had two songs in mind that fits each of the two meanings.
You could have guessed already that I decided to go for the second meaning by the title of my entry but I was close to sharing an entry for the first meaning, it was a song I knew very well until I thought "Why not take a challenge this time?"
Choosing the song "Overdose" by Alessia Cara for the theme was a challenge I decided to take. It isn't a very easy song like the other and the lyrics are quite tensed which is theme perfect.
The song is about a love that has gone wrong but the singer is still fighting hard to leave the relationship which isn't easy so, the lyrics...
