Why did i started using steemit?

Well first i heard about steemit from my friend @m3an he had been using it for couple of days and i really liked the idea about earning money just for making content but i wasn't sure how it works, that's why i started posting.
Ive been using steemit for a couple of weeks now i think? and there've been some ups and downs since i used other peoples content earlier which i didnt know i wasnt able to use. But now it's going good and here i am.
