STINGY AND GREEDY- TWO BAD CHARACTER THAT HUMAN SHOULD FIGHT AGAINST
One of the bad characteristics that doesn't make a person prosper quickly is greed and stinginess.
Like if your hand is not open to others, it will be hard for you to receive things. just like how some of that person's blessings and success will be delayed. But if you always open your hands to others and are always ready to help, you will always receive blessings and be successful in your endeavors. That's why it's said that givers never lack.
In university, I get to meet a lot of people, and I will say that different people have different characters and behaviors, so if I say I know a person who is both stingy and greedy at the same time with more bad characters, you shouldn't be shocked about that.
Some people are so stingy that they can't even give out #5, which is the lowest Nigerian currency. You may be thinking that it's not possible for a person not to be able to give out a little money to someone who needs it. But it's possible because stingy people would rather use it to buy unnecessary things than give it to people who need it more than they do.
For instance, there is this lady I know in university who will always say she doesn't have money, even when I and some other girls ask her to buy us sachet water, which is just #50 in Nigerian currency. Since I have known her, she has never once offered to buy us anything, even if it would just take a little from her. The day I found out that she was just being stingy was when she left her bag with me and I wanted to borrow her pen because I had lost mine. I get to find out she has some 100 naira change in her bag, and we asked her earlier, and she said she did not have any money. Okay, fine, it's possible she wants to use the money for some important stuff, but the fact that she lied means she doesn't want to help.
I hate people like this because what's the benefit of knowing one another when we won't be able to help ourselves? Does that even make sense? No, it doesn't.
Talking about greed Most students on campus have this character because they are never content with what their parents can offer them, and they will always want more than that by doing some illegal things or things that a person from a good home should not indulge in. They do all this because they want to leave a flashy lifestyle and dress up the way others do. Like, why can’t they just be grateful for things they have rather than what they don’t have?
And why will a student spend all the money she is supposed to use to buy foodstuffs on clothes?

Then after, you will start complaining of hunger and won't let those who use their money to buy foodstuffs rest, all because we know each other. Is that even fair?
This particular person will always spend her money on clothes, and anytime she passes any shop that sells clothes, she gets to see clothes she likes. She won't be at peace or leave until she buys it and gets a hold of the cloth. She is obsessed with buying clothes because she would rather go hungry and use the money to buy clothes. All this is happening because she wants to dress to kill and oppress a lady that she is competing with in dressing but who doesn't even know if she exists.
If it weren't for the fact that she is greedy and not content with what she has, she wouldn't even care if someone dressed more than her or not, but the fact that she is greedy didn't let her rest, and she wants to always meet the standard of the other lady, which is bad.
How things go between me and those people.
Well, life is not all about pushing people with bad character away every time. because most of them don't know they have a bad character. So it's all about letting them know that it's not good to be doing all that, and the rest is up to them to change or not.
One of them, who is stingy, is trying now to cultivate the attribute of giving, but for the other, who is greedy of clothes, I hope she changes soon.
