When I got onboard on Hive,Hive learners community was the second community I posted to after my first post, which was my introduction. It was the best community for newbies to get started in because of the weekly featured topics that are used for contests and are always relatable. If you can't relate to the first topic of the week, then you should relate to the second or third topic of the week because there are three topics in a week.
It's fun to participate in these featured topics. Though I didn't get to participate in all the weekly featured contests since I joined Hive Learners community because there are days I am busy or days that I can't relate to the topic, I am glad I was able to participate in so many of them that I can, which was fun to write on.
A lot of things motivate me to participate in these weekly contests, and the first of them all is the curation we do get from Lazy Panda. If I say that's not part of my motivation that makes me participate in them, then it means I am lying because it is. The second thing that motivates me is how other content creators on Hive get to engage with my post, which makes me happy because some of their comments are sweet and nice and it shows they are supportive.
I was able to show my presence and grow on the platform by engaging with others, joining their community on Discord channel by attending meetings when I could because I don't do it every time, and interacting with others. With all this hive learners community has being a great place to me and it's one of my best community on hive.
As I have been writing in the Hive learners community since I joined, I have favorite entries because some of the topics make me talk about something that is personal to me or what I can relate to, and my top five entries are;
The first of them is Budgeting
We were told to write about how we can budget our money so we don't spend lavishly, and as a university student, I was able to talk about how I budget my money in school. Budgeting is the process of creating a plan to spend money wisely and not lavishly on things that are not necessary. It was fun to write this topic because I got to read other people's entries and learn different ways and methods that we can budget money.
The relevance of Emoji, stickers, and gifs in conversation is my second favorite topic. I get to talk about the one I prefer using in conversation among the three of them, and it was emojis and stickers. Without these three, conversations will be dull because they spice them up and make them fun.
I can never do these things, even if a million dollars is involved is my third favorite entry, and I get to talk about things I can't do no matter how much money is involved. Yes, we humans love money, but despite that, I cherish my good name and won't spoil my life and my good name because of money. I talk about how I can never go into prostitution or have sex with a married man because of money.
It’s all about me, and what makes me unique is my fourth favorite topic and this topic gives me the privilege to let other people know some things about myself, like my name, where I'm from, and a lot more. I also get to talk about what makes me unique, which is all about my personality and the real me.
My fifth favorite topic is The first major thing I bought with my money
I get to talk about how I use my first earnings to buy novels that improve my diction and speaking skills and teach me great lessons.
Hive Learners is a great community, and with the help of the weekly contest, a lot of people, especially newbies who don’t know which topic to write on, have been able to keep going with the help of Hive Learners weekly topic ideas.
Happy anniversary hive learners community💃💃
