Upland is a virtual property metaverse offering true ownership of NFT property parcels mapped to real addresses, recently partnered with a company called Tilia Pay to pave the way for what the team calls a truly digital economy.
Upland is a blockchain-based game in which users can buy, sell and trade virtual properties assigned to the real world. By becoming a "digital landlord", users can build properties and earn UPX coins. The project uses blockchain to link each property within the Upland platform to an NFT.
Perhaps unique among many new blockchain-based games, Upland seeks to create a market-based digital economy that blurs the lines between the real world and the digital world.
Users can purchase in-game digital assets with fiat currency or cryptocurrency (using UPX currency) and exchange the assets with other players. However, it is worth noting that there is no way to withdraw your UPX tokens. All you can do is roll it over to other properties, which give you more UPX. At least for now. Maybe in the future it will be possible.

Your partner Tilia Pay specializes in helping video game publishers create economies in the world and monetize their interaction with other users. This partnership now allows users to essentially convert their holdings back to real world value, breaking the barrier between the real world and the digital world.
Upland users can sell their NFT virtual real estate assets using Second Life's payment network, called Tilia Pay, which supports PayPal as the primary payment mechanism. Therefore, players could technically buy real estate representations of NFT in the virtual world of Upland and sell them for real US dollars.
Known as the Property-to-USD beta program, it has three top sales of around $ 1,000 USD per piece. Since its launch, Upland players have spent $29,250 on properties in the Upland metaverse, with an average spend of $39.50.
