In my first year of my tertiary level in Cebu Technological University, I've found the Love of My Life. As I stated in my introduction, we are classmates that turn into closed friend and became a bridge into his relationship since he was torpid that time, and in the last it turns into Lovers <3
Last 2012, that was 5 years ago in an Engineering building that was the first time I saw him. He was active, smart, has a natural complexion, handsome and he loves to dance. He was known in our school campus because of that appeal. (That was my classmate)
Our friendship started with this scene. There was a school event in our school and I was absent that time due to some reason. He texted me without giving his name, so I am blind if who he is. At first I didn't reply his texts since that is my ground rule, that I will not go along with some text unless if I know who he/she is. So as he keep on texting he said that he was my classmate so I replied him since I know a little bit of him that he was my classmate. Our conversation started with that until we've shared stories, late conversation and jokes every time we are in the classroom.
One time, he was attracted with my girl friend. So I get bullied him and make jokes that he was only get closed to me because he was attracted to my girl friend. (hahahaha) but by fortuitous that was not the reason. He ask me for help to get closed also with my friend. He keep on asking the things that I've known, what are the things that she liked and more other things. Until it end to the point that he want to court with her but the problem was he was torpid and didn't know how. So, he came to me and ask how to court her, so as a friend I'd help him, it sounds unusual since I was a girl. (hahaha) I'd only share with him the things that my friend wants if there was someone will court to her. So he was happy and excited that time. He prepare a lot and made practices. We came to the point that he courted me BUT it was just a practiced on how he will courted my friend :) :) :)
So the time was come. There was an event in our school, that was our Intramurals Day! We planned that he will made his move in that time. But unfortunately all our plans was broke. I was very disappointed with my friend. He was starting to utter his lovely words to the girl but she made him stopped. She confess that she has already had a boyfriend in Siquijor since she was from there. That was the thing I didn't know. If I know that thing, I'm pretty sure that that guy friend of mine will not feel that very painful feelings. That time was his very unforgettable moments, after all our preparations, our practices, our late conversation because of that girl it turns to nothing. "We sow but we didn't reap anything :(". All our effort was useless.
That time he was only have me as a comforter. I am his shoulder to cry on, I am willing to listens to all his regrets and give my sympathy, emotional support, and encouragement. Until year past, he realized that why he was wasting his time to the others if me his friend are always there for him. He confess his feelings towards me, and its not difficult for me to fall in love with him since he has the attitude of being a good boyfriend.
And now, we are in our 5th years of love. We've celebrated our 5th year last September.
Our story sounds unusual, friends become lovers. There was shifting of emotions. "But the best relationships are the ones you didn't expect to be in and the ones you never even saw coming". Cheers for more years <3 THE END ..........
