En un post anterior comenté que era la primera vez que la iba a conocer en persona, aunque en realidad era un poco como si nos conociéramos desde hace mucho, mucho tiempo por interactuar tanto a través de Hive. Es increíble conocer hivers fuera de la plataforma
Let me tell you a little bit about the story behind this gift. A few days ago, in a group we have among Hivers, Rosa mentioned that she was going to give a little gift from Hive that very day as a welcome to a new member of the community. Reading all this, I asked why I didn't have one. After much discussion, I understood that I hadn't been able to attend the onboarding session when Rosa explained everything in person, so she promised to give it to me the day we met.
I honestly thought we would end up meeting much later, because I live quite far away, but as fate would have it, the opportunity arose to meet soon when we planned to take a course with more hivers (which I also mentioned in a previous post).
Les cuento un poco la historia de este regalito, hace unos días, en un grupo que tenemos entre hivers, Rosa mencionó que justo ese día iba a entregar un detallito de Hive como bienvenida a una nueva integrante de la comunidad. Yo, leyendo todo eso, pregunté por qué yo no tenía uno, Después de mucha charla, entendí que la situación era que no había podido asistir al onboarding el día que Rosa explicó todo de manera presencial, y por eso prometió dármelo el día que nos conociéramos.
La verdad pensé que terminaríamos conociéndonos mucho después, porque vivo bastante lejos, pero por obras del destino se presentó la oportunidad de conocernos pronto al planificar ver un curso con más hivers (del que también hablé en un post pasado).
I was very happy with the gift that day. I took several photos of it with the ocean in the background; I practically did a photo shoot of all the little details. It comes with a black bracelet with the Hive logo and white lettering. It had been a long time since I had a bracelet made of that material; I used to have a lot of them at home.
It also comes with some really cute stickers, including ones from the new Margarita community. I don't think I'll stick them anywhere because I tend to collect stickers rather than use them, ha ha ha. It also includes three brochures with a brief explanation of the platform.
Ese día estaba muy feliz con el regalo. Pude tomarle varias fotos con vista al mar, prácticamente le hice una sesión de fotos a los detallitos. Trae una pulsera negra con el logo de Hive y sus letras en blanco, hacía muchísimo tiempo que no tenía una pulsera de ese material, antes había un montón en casa.
También trae stickers que son demasiado lindos, incluyendo los de la nueva comunidad de Margarita. La verdad no creo que los pegue en ningún lugar porque suelo coleccionar stickers en vez de usarlos jajaja. Además, incluye tres folletos con una pequeña explicación de la plataforma.
I think what you'll see me wearing most will be the bracelet. I'll keep the rest as if they were treasures. I admit I'm showing off the gift a little, but I had to share this moment, and what better place to do so than in the community that gave me the opportunity to meet such lovely people.

Creo que lo que más me verán usar será la pulsera. Lo demás lo guardaré como si fuera un tesoro. Acepto que estoy presumiendo un poco el regalo, pero era necesario compartir este momento, y qué mejor lugar para hacerlo que en la comunidad que me dio la oportunidad de conocer a personas tan lindas.
